Education is the key to the future of our country. Early Education provides the basis to instill in a child early the importance of continuing their education so that they can achieve their highest potential in today's job market.
Our country is only going to grow and thrive if we have American's who have the skills and ambition to invent, create and research new technologies to create new industries.
Many have thought cutting Head Start will help our country's budget. These people apparently are not familiar with the program and how it provides a foundation for love of learning, gets children exactly what the name entails, a head start to be better prepared to enter the public school system. It also is a great resource for families and helps these families become strong and a part of their child's education.
It is vital we continue to provide grants for college education. Without these grants many talented people with innovative and progressive ideas could get lost in this tough economy and precarious job market. A person's level of intelligence is not determined by the wealth of their parents. If college becomes a commodity for only the elite, America is going to miss out on thousands, perhaps millions of prospective contributors to taking America into the future as a leader in new technologies and industries.
Already our country is fading in research and innovation and new technology, making us dependent on other countries, and rather than bring jobs to America and becoming a major contender as an exporter, we are going to sadly become the largest importer.
We have the potential to start new technologies right under our noses, all we need are educated participants to be a part of the project to get these innovative ideas off the ground and invent the most cost efficient methods of carrying these progressive industries into our near future, boosting our economy and our standing in the world as an industrial leader.
